Non-collection of a child Procedure

If a child is not collected on time the service will continue to provide the same
quality care and to keep the child occupied.

  •  Two staff members will remain with your child at all times.
  • Staff will continue to try and make contact with parents and all those who have been written on the child’s Application Form. If we have not been contacted by you to inform us what is happening we will firstly,
  • If this is not successful after 10 mins, Social Service will be notified of the situation.
  • A charge is in place for all lateness (See ‘Service’s Terms and Conditions’)
  • All incidents will be recorded
  • On NO account can any staff member take your child off the premise without the advise / permission of the Local Authority.
  • Continuous lateness will result in the place being withdrawn.
